The story is that Samsung has become the quality leader. The other part of the story is that the LCD is gaining market share in plasma. Many consumer reviews strongly favor Samsung. Here’s how I came to the same conclusion.
Facial Recognition
Faces have a lot of subtle color changes. They are also a permanent focal point for television. When we tested models, we put them side by side and compared the faces. Television stations would better face look more natural with less shading unreal. Samsung was the best, but Sony was very close to Samsung quality. In fact, it is sometimes difficult to tell which one was better. Other brands like Vizio and Phillips, were obviously not as good.

Exhibitions and external trade have much brighter colors and contrast ratios. They can withstand higher heat and are manufactured to run 24 / 7. The components are a higher grade. They have more features. For example, the average LCD television will have a DVD player connected to it and that means it needs only RCA ports. However, business models and outdoor entered PC serial port RS-232 (sometimes), Legacy and VGA inputs as well as traditional and RCA cable. PC inputs are "huge"! This means that you can use your screen as a computer monitor. You can easily download movies, Internet searches and get USB TV (instead of cable). The other thing I like is to set up my screensaver and be able to see beautiful landscapes. Of course, this only works with business models.
Pricing
Like most everything costs almost twice as expensive to build real quality. As you guessed, you can expect to pay about twice as much for quality commercial and outdoor TV LCD TFT.
What to Expect
Most people plan on spending almost a thousand dollars for a new LCD TV TFT. You can save a bit by going with a brand like Vizio. Vizio has a large market share of the lower extremity while Samsung and Sony dominate the market higher. The ‘sweet spot’ (most of the silver screen) is the forty-two inches.
If you have the Bucks, consider a commercial quality or outdoor advertising. They last longer, but more importantly, allow you to network and communicate with a computer. Would not it be nice to have a television outdoor patio behind?
